- We try to get over every couple of months. After about 6 weeks in the UK I become a seriously miserable sod! It is a tug of war between me wanting to go to sunny Lanzarote and Siobain wanting to go to N.I.
I am into backgammon, badminton, swimming, jukeboxes, collecting music (obsessionally!) and drinking cold beer when it's hot and warm beer when it's cold.
Siobain is into reading whole libraries, dog walking, swimming, watching really dull mushy TV that drives me out of the room, going for coffee, shoes and being my best friend....apart from when she's daft!
Hope she doesn't read this :-(

If you add your holiday (arrival) to the events, or maybe even use Rafa's Canal Travel (see homepage) for the transfer from the airport to your apartment (?) you'll get a T-shirt.

P.S. If you know of any events in Femes, feel free to start an (the) event on this site! All I found on the Internet is the annual fiesta (July 7). For instance the Carnival! I know it's celebrated on different weekends in different places, but when it is in Femes ..... ?

I don't know about the badminton, except that some hotels have tennis facilities, maybe also indoor badminton courts; but like you said: prob. only for residents.
About the swimmingpool: you might try the Aqua Park in Costa Teguise. They have a lot of slides, but also "regular" pools (so I'm told)
